My favorite part of [voicing Darth Maul for Lego Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Out] had to be that "I’m So Awesome" song, of course. But I’ve done these Star Wars jobs for awhile now, and I’m a Star Wars fan, so I daresay I know Star Wars pretty well. So to be able to kind of poke fun at it is a good time, especially when you don’t really go too far with it. I have tremendous respect for George Lucas and Star Wars, but yeah, to take a not so serious approach to it is definitely a rare opportunity. - Sam Witwer [x]
Hahahah #GreatScott loves this part of the movie. :D
im really pissed that palindrome isnt palindrome backwards
Ah, yes but emordnilap is a word!
An emornilap is any word that, when spelled backwards, produces another word. Examples of emordnilap pairs include:
- desserts & stressed
- drawer & reward
- gateman & nametag
- time & emit
- laced & decal
- regal & lager
And therefore “emordnilap palindrome” is an emordnilap palindrome.
Which I, for one, think is really frickin’ cool.
Last week we met a young great dane who may grow up to be the World’s Largest Dog. Now we’d like to introduce to you a cat so large that he’s been nicknamed Catasaurus Rex, although people usually just call him Pickles.
Pickles measures over three feet long and weighs 21 lbs. He was found abandoned in a cat carrier on the side of a Massachusetts road and taken in by the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. They put him up for adoption on Petfinder, which is where Boston couple Andrew Milicia and Emily Zarvos found and adopted the gargantuan kitty. They were actually selected by the MSPCA from 50 different applicants who all wanted to adopt Pickles.
They say that it was love at first sight and now Pickles spends his days cuddling with his humans and hogging the sofa.
Andrew, a graphic designer, said: ‘When we first saw Pickles he looked like such a beast - but he looked really cool. He’s actually bigger than some dogs. It didn’t take him long to make himself at home and now he takes up most of the couch when he’s laid out.’
Emily said: ‘I struggle to pick him up sometimes cause he weighs so much. He loves hiding in the closet so when we go to work we put a stone statue in front of it to keep him out. But when we come back the statue has been moved and he’s in the closet.’
If these photos aren’t quite enough Catasaurus Rex for you, visit Dailymail.co.uk for a short video.
It’s another Cat Day on Geyser of Awesome!
